Internet of Things – From the idea to the world market

library > Internet of Things – From the idea to the world market

This month, Lefteris Papageorgiou, general manager of Entranet, with his many years of experience in the field of new technologies, introduced us to the world of the Internet of Things (IoT). We learned how the Internet of Things answers the challenges of today’s society and how it can help from the conception of an idea to its implementation and global spread. We also talked about technological applications such as the creation of “The assisted living market”, technologically accessible spaces which aim to cover a new and constantly growing need. More specifically, reference was made to the “smart home of the future for the elderly” through Internet of Things technology.

Summing up, the presentation tried to create a road map that starts with the conception of an idea and ends with the creation of a company and commercial product that is successful in the global market. We also described the steps required for the above process, answered questions, and described the challenges of today’s society.

As always, the presentation had a practical nature since a mini-workshop was also held in which we showed the operation and effectiveness of Structure Breakdown in implementing a Business Plan.
