SciFY held the SciFY Academy event “Technology & Natural Disasters #2 | The Role of Innovation and AI” on Thursday, January 30th, 2025, at 19:00, at Impact Hub Athens ( 28 Karaiskaki, Athens ).

Participation is free and open to everyone!

The goal was to co-discover key issues such as:

  • What are the natural disasters that threaten our country?
  • How does technology help in the prevention and management of natural disasters?
  • How is technology used in practice by rescuers?
  • How does robotics support disaster response teams?
  • How can technology provide responders with timely information and assist them in decision-making?

Through the SciFY Academy initiative, SciFY aspires to create a platform for discussion by bringing together representatives from the fields of scientific research, business, and civil society with citizens, students, and professionals.
