On Wednesday, May 24, SciFY organized the first part of a series of seminars dedicated to Intelligent Systems at the INNOVATHENS Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub of the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens.
Technologists, entrepreneurs, representatives of the IT industry, researchers, students from various schools, and even journalists came to INNOVATHENS to attend the 19th SciFY Academy.
Dr. George Giannakopoulos, researcher at the Knowledge and Software Technology Laboratory of NCSR “Demokritos” and CTO of SciFY, introduced us to the field of Intelligent Systems. More specifically:
- The value of artificial intelligence
- Concepts of intelligence and artificial intelligence
- Natural and Artificial Systems That Demonstrate Intelligence
- Functions of intelligent systems
- Intelligent systems with different sciences
After the presentation, a discussion and an interactive workshop followed, where the aim was for participants to gain a thorough understanding of the concept and future of Artificial Intelligence. As always, after the presentation, there was time for the audience to ask questions.
