VolunTECH: Volunteering in the Digital Age
Training and Empowering NGOs and Volunteers: Providing the tools for the future
We are delighted to announce the launch of the VolunTECH project. With this action, we will train NGOs in volunteer management using technological tools. At the same time, we will train volunteers to develop new skills.
VolunTECH in a few lines
We aim to promote the active participation of young people in volunteering, offering valuable skills and experiences, and enhancing employability and social entrepreneurship. More specifically, our goal is:
- Empowerment and Inclusion: Providing digital skills to everyone so they can contribute to social change.
- Professional Support: Enhancing employability through skills recognition and certification.
- Intercultural Exchange: Connecting young people from different cultures through digital tools.
- Support for Vulnerable Groups: Supporting young people with disabilities and other needs.
- European Values: Promoting the ideals of the European Union through volunteering.
Free Training and Support
VolunTECH will offer free online training and certification, giving participants the opportunity to acquire recognized skills. At the same time, it combines digital technology with meaningful interpersonal relationships.
When does the action start?
The project will be implemented from January 2024 to September 2026. The free VolunTECH training program will be available in the second quarter of 2025.
