SciFY held the 2nd event of the “Environment & Innovation” series, on “Livable & Resilient Cities” , on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023, at 19:00, at INNOVATHENS of Technopolis City of Athens (100 Pireos Street, Gazi).

Participation was free and open to all!
A Certificate of Attendance was given to those who desired it.

The goal was to co-discover:

  • how innovation can bring positive results,
  • what’s the role of technology, and what are its limits,
  • what the roles of man and society are.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about new technologies, practical tools, and ways to achieve sustainability.

Kosmas Anagnostopoulos, MSc in Transport and Urban Planning, Founder and Coordinator at CIVINET Greece-Cyprus
Androniki – Phaedra Petrou, Architectural Engineer, Associate Architect at Potiropoulos + Partners Architecture
Lydia Papadaki, Researcher at the Alliance of Excellence for Research and Innovation on Aephoria (AE4RIA), PhD candidate at the Athens University of Economics and Business

Through this series of SciFY Academy initiative events (October 2023 – December 2023), SciFY aspired to create a platform for discussion by bringing together representatives of IT, the environment, and citizens. The purpose was to be informed and inspired about ways to achieve a more sustainable future!
