The NCSR DEMOKRITOS Institute and SciFY joined forces, and that’s how success came!

Now, we are planning the next success stories in new fields such as environment, new materials, and much more!

Yesterday, our CEO, Dr. George Giannakopoulos, along with SciFY’s Marketing & Social Impact Manager Vassilis Giannakopoulos, spoke at the Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications of NCSR Demokritos about the perspectives that open up in the future of Demokritos – SciFY’s joint path, based on the successes of this ten-year collaboration.

Among other things, we discussed:

• The Βest practices developed between Demokritos and SciFY.
• The synergy opportunities.
• How collaborating Institutes/researchers can:
  • enhance financing proposals with AI, ICT, and gaming,
  • do innovative dissemination and exploitation activities,
  • strengthen research with Artificial Intelligence and Information Technologies,
  • develop skills of researchers and research teams,
  • apply research results to real life,
  • promote the results of their work,
  • enrich their educational activities.

The speech was prompted by the most recent successes of the collaboration between Demokritos and SciFY:

• SciFY was ranked as the #1 company at the Lefkippos Attica Technology Park and
• International award of the joint “1000 Pioneers for AI in Greece” initiative by UNESCO’s IRCAI
