Training SMEs in AI and Circular Economy
In AI4GreenSME, we empower Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) by developing Artificial Intelligence and Circular Economy skills. We encourage collaboration, lifelong learning, and the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence.
How do we do that?
Through an online training program specially designed for the needs of SMEs that want to enter the digital and green era.
Specifically:
- We define the competencies that should be cultivated by the executives of SMEs.
- We develop a detailed training program and train SME executives to test it in real conditions and improve it.
- We create collaborative tools.
- We facilitate professional inclusion.
Funding
Training SMEs in AI and Circular Economy
SMEs cannot respond to modern challenges if they do not develop skills to exploit Artificial Intelligence and Circular Economy.
The project aims to answer the following needs:
- Strengthening the culture of ΑΙ and data management in SMEs:
Increasing acceptance and trust in ΑΙ.
Support SME executives in identifying business opportunities.
- Promoting the principles of Circular Economy:
Training of professionals in circular and green economy tools.
Improving the impact of SMEs on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) indicators.
Skill development of middle-level managers of SMEs.
- Facilitating the transition to the Digital and Green Revolution:
Educating professionals and promoting adopting their principles.
Applying Machine Learning to Circular Economy models.
Training SMEs in AI and Circular Economy
The project is still in the first stage of its implementation.
The expected results are:
- Research in 5 EU countries to see the needs of SMEs in terms of digital and green transformation.
- Development of educational material that will cover the needs mentioned above.
- Creation of a digital interactive platform specially designed for mid-level SME executives.
- Pilot educational program for 100+ executives from all over Europe.
- Joint cooperation and networking actions of the executives participating in the pilot training program.
- Actions to communicate and disseminate the principles of the Digital and Green Reform.
