We created a platform that helps manage volunteers from the moment they express interest in working for our organization until they take action.
We worked with the Municipality of Athens and 5 NGOs to ensure the tool we created was useful.
With Volunteasy, an organization can:

- Utilize volunteers effectively
- Keep records of volunteers and their activities
- Evaluate them and learn what they think about their work
- Coordinate the actions of its various units

Non-profit organizations know how significant the contribution of volunteers is, but also how difficult it is to use them effectively. We all invest much time and effort and are never quite happy with the result. We want to be able to:
- Optimize the process of selecting and assigning actions
- Utilize volunteers effectively
- Keep records of volunteers and their activities
- Evaluate them and learn what they think about our organization
- Coordinate the actions of various organizational levels
- Oversee processes at a central level
Well, we’ve created a volunteer utilization platform and offer it to everyone for free as open-source software. So that all agencies can make better use of their volunteers.
We achieved this by getting specifications from several organizations (a large Municipality and 5 NGOs) so that even the first implementation was as complete as possible.
