SciFY held the SciFY Academy event “Technology & Natural Disasters | The Role of Innovation and AI”, on Tuesday, November 12th, 2024, at 19:00, at Ιmpact Hub Athens (28 Karaiskaki Street, Athens).

Participation is free and open to everyone!

The goal was to co-discover:

  • What is the situation in Greece in terms of prevention?
  • What is the usefulness and value of prevention actions?
  • How can technology support prevention, rescue, and decision-making (sensors, computational tools, AI)?
  • What lessons have we learned from previous Natural Disasters?
  • What new generation of technologies is being created through R&D?

Through the SciFY Academy initiative, SciFY aspires to create a platform for discussion by bringing together representatives from the field of scientific research, the development of Assistive Technologies, and their use with citizens, students, and related professionals.
