1st Results

The results of the first Work Package are already complete and ready to use. More specifically:

• “Research Results on Artificial Intelligence & Social Skills for Medical Students” is the first result of the AIIS project, the report created from the survey conducted in 4 European countries (Spain, Greece, Belgium, and Finland) in which 442 Professors of Medicine and Students contributed. This survey had 3 stages:
  • Comparative Analysis: Presenting the state of medical schools in each country participating in the survey.
  • Research & Data Analysis: Analyzing the responses of medical professors and students and drawing conclusions based on their responses.
  • Desk Research: Comprehensive report on how the medical school curriculum is structured around Artificial Intelligence and soft skills.
• Then, based on the above report, the 2nd result of the first Work Package was completed: “Proficiency Guidelines & Learning Journey on Artificial Intelligence & Social Skills for Medical Students”.
  • This report presents a detailed structure of the learning journey based on the above Research.
  • It also includes the methodology used to extract the specific learning modules from the research report.
  • Finally, it has a breakdown of each Learning Module (description, learning outcomes, ECTSHours, Keywords, Module Content, etc.).

Upcoming Results

We’re now working on our next results which will be:

• Training Courses on AI & Social Skills for Medical Students
• A Collaborative Learning Platform for Medical Students
• Medical Student Workgroups to solve challenges using their knowledge of AI & Social Skills
• Validation and Recognition of Training in Europe’s Higher Institutions
