The seminar we had with Democritus and SciFY surpassed any expectation we had. George and his team not only have a deep knowledge of the subject but also a unique way to explain complex technical issues into tangible and ready to use knowledge. With the help of the team we have explored the ways in which we can utilize –or indeed are already utilizing- AI in our line of work. We are already working to transfer this knowledge to our teams and are contemplating solutions we can adopt in the future.

Our close, meaningful partnership with SciFY has already marked 10 years. We cooperated effectively in education, training, innovation, and research projects. Recently, we have had the pleasure of expanding our collaboration through major joint projects, and we look forward to a prosperous future that maximizes the impact both for the Institute and for Democritus, as well as for society.

SciFY helped us create the digital version of our successful educational leadership game. It had ownership of the project from the very beginning, provided valuable guidance on how to shape a digital version that delivered real value, and delivered the project as planned. The result was excellent: a much better experience for our customers, flexibility and support for our trainers, and an innovation disseminated to the other countries of the Group.

The two-day seminar was a revelation for our team in the field of modern technology and the understanding of the interaction of “smart machines” with humans. We acquired the appropriate knowledge in a simple and comprehensible way, and the workshop was the trigger to understand the possibilities as well as the challenges of AI, especially regarding the possible applications in a non-profit organization. Through many everyday examples and practical solutions, SciFY’s presenters gave us the supplies to take a step forward into a new -or rather not so new- world!

Our participation as Save Your Hood in the “NGO Pioneers in Artificial Intelligence” project was an amazing opportunity to familiarize ourselves with AI technologies and use them to create solutions to address everyday challenges. With the guidance of the program team, we can now more confidently begin to design innovative ideas for the future that will bring us to our goals faster and more efficiently.

For four years, we have had a wonderful collaboration with SciFY in the context of programming courses for teenagers and adults. They have been professionals at all levels. By taking on a demanding group, they proved not only their knowledge of the subject being taught but also how a group should work from an educational and human standpoint. Paul (STEM professor) and the rest of the coworkers managed to develop a relationship of trust with the children, who always watched the class with great enthusiasm. The response to the requirements of the courses, as well as to our own questions, was immediate. In short, they were excellent.

Working with with SciFY is working with excellent professionals, done in an efficient, smooth, direct and friendly way. SciFY helped us communicate what inspires us in a simple and engaging way. Above all, this partnership has stood the test of time and is set to continue…

We got a strong intro in the notion and requirements of a pitching event.

We met SciFY in 2014 when we were starting up. They helped us write our user stories, prioritise them, and then they delivered the first components of our platform. Always of excellent quality and on-time, while keeping a very professional and proactive communication. Later on, they helped us hire, onboard, and educate our first in-house developers and let us go like a parent who takes their kids to school.
